About the job
As a Solar Service Technician, the Employee is required to perform the following duties and undertake all the responsibilities in a professional manner.

  • Maintain current knowledge of AC/DC systems, solar PV systems and NEC electrical code.
  • Maintain a valid NC drivers license.
  • Ability to work with various kinds of solar inverters, optimizers, microinverters and battery systems.
  • Complete and submit all assigned inspection and testing data as required. Create excellent, detailed documentation within our work ticketing software system so that we can always deliver professional reporting to our customers.
  • Ensure timely resolution of the service tickets.
  • Work with basic hand and electrical tools.
  • Troubleshoot & diagnose common Direct Current (DC) & Alternating Current (AC) faults within the PV Site.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and communicate site activities with them.
  • Ensure compliance with latest OSHA guidance and the Safety Manual.
  • Ensure compliance with company and government regulations.
  • Handle emergency situations with established procedures and protocols.
  • Follow company protocols and procedures regarding data keeping of the tickets in the CRM and other software.
  • Perform Solar Site Evaluations on new installations gathering homes electrical setup and flying a drone.
  • Maintain a company calendar with site activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
