Job Title: Solar Energy – Department Lead

Job Type: Full-Time

About Us: Wohali Builders, LLC. is constructing a world class golf and resort destination within the Wasatch Range. We are focused on creating structures that utilize sustainable and renewable energy sources. We will be utilizing the Tesla Roof System throughout our development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training and Development:
    • Collaborate with the Tesla team to ensure completion of comprehensive training programs for new and existing team members.
    • Conduct hands-on training sessions to impart knowledge and skills necessary for the successful installation of Tesla Solar Roof products.
  • Performance Management:
    • Uphold a culture of accountability within the team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols (PPE), quality standards, and company policies.
    • Oversee the maintenance and organization of tools and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Project Management:
    • Strategically forecast material requirements based on project scopes and timelines, coordinating procurement to meet installation schedules effectively.
    • Proactively identify and resolve installation issues through efficient triage and decisive problem-solving techniques.
  • Leadership and Flexibility:
    • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in managing dynamic project demands while responding to directives from Senior Leadership.
    • Regularly communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to Senior Leadership to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Previous Experience:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Extensive hands-on experience with Tesla V3/V3R solar roof systems, including installation techniques and troubleshooting methodologies. Capable of installing the complete Tesla Roof System up to the electrical panel (current certifications preferred)
    • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with construction management software such as Procore and Inventory Management Systems, such as Kojo.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Strong self-motivation and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
    • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of analyzing complex situations and implementing effective solutions.

Additional Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or management qualifications preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in solar roof installation, leadership experience preferred.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
