At Windquiet Technologies, we aim to be the leading provider of renewable energy systems. We deploy and integrate best-in-class technology across wind, solar, and battery domains to optimize electricity generation, storage, and delivery, all enhanced by a sophisticated software system.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Architect to join our dynamic, fast-growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading our software development efforts and architectural strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in the U.S. and China to design and deliver high-quality software solutions that align with our company’s strategic objectives and technical vision.
Responsibility:
- Provide technical leadership across software engineering teams in the US and China, ensuring regular communication with key personnel.
- Collaborate with product managers and clients to define product features and release schedules
- Proactively seek new technologies to enhance the performance of the software system
- Work with CTO to define overall technology and architecture directions and ensure they align with business goals and technical requirements
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive key initiatives to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance
- Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues and bugs
- Manage the US data center and oversee source code management
Qualification:

BS or advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with large-scale software system development
- Previous technical leadership experience required
- Experience with SaaS system required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with high proficiency in English and Mandarin required
- Strong ownership and passion for applying new technologies to real products
Pay & Benefits
The base pay for this position ranges from $120,000/year to $180,000/year. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Our benefits include Health/Dental/Vision Insurance, 10-15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) a year based on the tenure and 9 Public Holidays.
