Key Details:

  • Pay: $65,000 – $85,000/year DOE
  • Location: Remote – must reside in one of the following states: OR, WA, ID, AZ, CA, NV, NM, UT, WY, CO, MT
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, PST time
  • Benefits: Employer-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance; PTO, 10 paid holidays, company-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), 401k with 6% match, and flexible hybrid working schedule

Who You Are: You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience.
  • At least two years’ experience in project management or coordination and execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience or interest in the energy industry.
  • Particular interest in candidates with proficiency in SharePoint management.

What You’ll Do: The Program Associate provides administrative and project management support for the Western Resource Adequacy Program (WRAP) team. This position will also support the WRAP team to research and define risks and opportunities, analyze data, contribute to the development of solutions, and draft and present policies to internal and external audiences.

The Program Associate will be an integral part of exciting developments in the Western Interconnect, with opportunities for learning, career growth, and networking across the energy industry. WPP is seeking a highly-motivated individual to add value to the small team.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serves as first point of contact for general WRAP participant requests and collaborates with staff to escalate and resolve requests and questions.
  • Monitors changes in the industry that could materially impact the WRAP.
  • Provides project management and logistical support to multiple WRAP committees; manages discrete project efforts with support from WPP WRAP team.
