BESS Commissioning Manager

Viridan Group is partnered with an industry-leading Energy Storage Solutions Integrator and Manufacturer. The company has successfully implemented multiple GWh of BESS solutions and boasts a 40+ GWh pipeline of utility-scale projects.

Their team seeks a Commissioning Manager who will be responsible for the commissioning and execution of BESS projects. The Cx Manager will manage a team of engineers and be the primary point of contact for Clients and Contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of on-site engineers and technicians
• Establish and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and tools.
• Manage all aspects of the commissioning process, including inspection, testing, planning, and more
• Oversee the scheduling and documentation of all projects-related activities and processes
• Act as the SME for all things commissioning

Qualifications

• Five years of experience with power generation projects. Experience within a renewable energy EPC, developer, or integrator is preferred.
• Three years of hands-on commissioning experience with energy projects
• Energy storage experience is a plus.
• Experience managing a team.
• Well-versed in power system engineering, design, installation, and construction
• Ability to foster strong relationships with team members, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Location

• Remote with up to 50% travel to project sites in CA, TX, and AZ
