Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist, youll be the master of acquiring the supplies and parts that keep our projects humming along. Think of yourself as the ultimate bargain hunter, scouring the land for the best vendors, evaluating products like a seasoned critic, and negotiating deals like you’re buying your dream carexcept you get to do it every day! You’ll handle the daily buying duties and keep the team in the loop on what’s coming in and when.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Summoning RFQs (Requests For Quotations) from vendors like a wizard calling forth a spell for the perfect deal.
  • Crafting and processing purchase orders and change orders with the precision of a seasoned online shopper.
  • Reporting purchase order KPIs, because the big wigs wants to know where all the moneys going (spoiler alert: its not on gourmet coffee).
  • Dealing with returns, because even superheroes have to send stuff back sometimes.
  • Managing vendors, keeping relationships strong, and making sure the preferred ones dont ghost us.
  • Helping accounting onboard new vendors (think speed dating for businesses).
  • Making sure were not paying taxes when we dont have tobecause who loves taxes? No one.
  • Negotiating like a pro to make sure were getting the best dealwithout having to resort to a thumb war.
  • Keeping project managers in the loop so they dont panic about timelines (or, at least, not because of you).
  • Monitoring deliveries like a hawk and flagging any risks or delays, ensuring everything arrives on time for the project build.
  • Evaluating the best goods at the best prices, because why settle for less?
  • Teaming up with the shop for inventory managementbecause who doesnt love a well-stocked shelf?

What Youll Need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the thrilling world of inventory and logistics in a manufacturing setting.
  • 2 years of wrangling an ERP system or similar computerized inventory management system (bonus points if it didn’t crash on you!).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlookjust enough to survive office life.
  • A basic understanding of industrial automation componentsbecause we work with some pretty cool stuff!
