**Position: Permit Expeditor**

**Location:** Holbrook, NY

**Job Type:** Full-Time

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Permit Handling:** Streamline and expedite the process of securing permits, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted promptly and accurately.

2. **Engineering Assistance:** Provide vital support to the engineering team in preparing, reviewing, and submitting necessary materials.

3. **Intake and Coordination:** Act as a primary point of contact for intaking new projects. Coordinate schedules and calendars, ensuring seamless project progression.

4. **Homeowner Coordination:** Liaise with homeowners, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project timelines, requirements, and milestones.

5. **Office Administration:** Handle office administration duties efficiently, from answering phones and filing paperwork to managing databases and other clerical tasks.

**Qualifications:**

– Previous experience in permit expedition or a related role is preferred.

– Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

– Proficient in using office software and management tools.

– Knowledge of the solar industry is a plus.

Skills:
– Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities
– Excellent typing skills to accurately transcribe documents and correspondence
– Experience as a personal assistant or in a similar role is preferred
– Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial tasks is a plus
– Knowledge of medical office procedures and experience as a medical receptionist is desirable
– Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
– Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $22.35 – $28.51 per hour

Expected hours: 40 45 per week
