Job Summary
As a Solar Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of solar panel systems. You will lead a team of technicians and ensure that projects are completed efficiently and up to industry standards.
Responsibilities
– Manage and lead a team of solar technicians during installations
– Conduct site assessments to determine the best locations for solar panel installation
– Install, inspect, and maintain solar panel systems
– Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues with solar panel systems
– Train team members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures
Requirements
– Proficiency in using power tools and electrical equipment
– Knowledge of high voltage systems and electrical schematics
– Experience with reading and interpreting building plans and roof layouts
– Familiarity with NEC codes related to solar panel installations
– Ability to operate a forklift safely
– Strong understanding of electrical principles and components
– Previous experience in plumbing or construction is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $27.57 – $33.20 per hour
