Job Summary:

Work as a custodial crew member for University Health Services. We’re offering a $2,000 hiring bonus. Apply today! Shift Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM

The Custodial Services team provides services to multiple floors in the 333 East Campus Mall. These floors include offices, meeting space and break areas. There are two medical clinic floors and one floor that is primarily made up of the mental health clinic. Unique cleaning guidelines may be in place in some of these areas.

Responsibilities:

Cleans facilities, removes waste and recycling, and monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours. Ensures cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas.

  • 50% Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables
  • 10% Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entities
  • 10% Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as needed
  • 10% Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs
  • 10% Maintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice
  • 10% Performs light maintenance duties as assigned (e.g., change light bulbs, move furniture, wash windows)

It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.

University Health Services is pleased to offer a $2,000 hiring bonus for this position. This $2,000 bonus will be paid in 12 monthly payments over the course of the new hire’s first year of employment.
