The Department of English at the University of Northern Colorado seeks to hire a contract-renewable lecturer of Writing Studies. Responsibilities include undergraduate teaching and advising; scholarly activity; and service to the department, college, and university. Teaching load is four courses per semester, comprised mostly of general education writing courses but the hire may have the opportunity to contribute to the departments additional programs: the Writing, Editing, and Publishing program and/or the Literature, Culture, and Creativity program.
The successful applicant will join a dynamic English Department that is committed to enhancing the diversity and inclusiveness of the campus community and the curriculum. They will contribute to the delivery of outstanding writing instruction and demonstrate an ability to work effectively with students, staff, and faculty from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

This position is contingent on funding from the Colorado State Legislature, approval by the Board of Trustees, and subject to the policies and regulations of the University of Northern Colorado.
