Universal Energy Solutions is looking for a passionate and dynamic Renewable Energy Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Cleveland, OH. In this role, you will be instrumental in promoting and selling our cutting-edge renewable energy solutions to both residential and commercial clients. Your primary goal will be to increase market share by building meaningful relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and exceeding sales targets.

As a representative of Universal Energy Solutions, you will have the unique opportunity to advocate for sustainable energy practices and contribute to a greener future. You will educate clients on the benefits of renewable energy solutions, driving both environmental and financial advantages for their businesses or homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and prospect potential clients through networking, cold calling, and community engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client energy needs to provide tailored renewable energy solutions
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals that highlight the value of our renewable energy offerings
  • Negotiate contracts, close sales deals, and achieve personal and company sales goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth project implementation and customer follow-up
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in renewable energy

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in outside sales, preferably within the renewable energy sector
  • Successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy solutions and market trends
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and the ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively
  • Self-starter with a strong drive for results and the ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Cleveland region for client meetings
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, or a related field (preferred)
