Job Description

Summary:

The Louisiana Service Manager will help establish meaningful, measurable, and achievable goals and objectives for the field service function throughout the Louisiana Territory including Gonzales, Lake Charles, Baton Rouge, Lafayette. In this role, you will develop plans to make the most efficient use of resources in the pursuit of customer service. This position will oversee all aspects of the service group.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish measurable and achievable goals and objectives for the Louisiana field service department and individuals.
  • Provide Project Management/Technical Lead for outages and large projects.
  • Set performance goals, have frequent performance conversations to review progress on action plans, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct thorough performance reviews.
  • Develop plans to make the most efficient use of resources in the pursuit of customer service, consistent with budgetary guidelines.
  • Identify the training needs for service group personal.
  • Ensure that both Louisiana service office and individuals have the appropriate equipment to support the TriNova product lines and that these assets are managed and maintained per quality procedures.
  • Act as Team Leader and mentor to Technicians, by remaining in close contact with them daily, through a combination of telephone and in-person interface, to identify and resolve any concerns or performance issues which may arise.
  • Support Field Service Technicians with prep for difficult tasks and provide technical support.
  • Hold Service Technicians accountable for responsibilities.
  • Conduct and document informal and formal performance reviews to ensure Technicians are aware of their strengths as well as opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with the Louisiana AVP and Sales Director to develop yearly goals and achievements.
  • Support Account Managers with day-to-day service opportunities and walk downs.
  • Perform routine calibrations of process control instrumentation.
  • Provide accurate, professional, and timely documentation of service calls.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in a technical field, or equivalent training and experience
  • 5+ year’s previous experience installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation
  • Technical aptitude
  • Problem solving
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Industrial safety training
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to train and mentor local instrumentation technicians

Travel

  • Some travel may be required
  • Must be able to transport self to various facility sites as required
