Established solar & roofing organization is seeking an organized and motivated Roofing Field Project Manager for our Roofing department. Under the general direction of the RVP, the Roofing Field Project Manager performs a wide variety of operations duties. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and genuine care to his/her work craft. Most importantly the ideal candidate will be able to maintain a high level of business ethics.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with employees and subcontractors to provide jobspecifications
- Coordinate with office admin and subcontractors to schedule customer jobs
- Ensure subcontractors are performing work to meet our company’s standards
- Manage jobs within provided budget and track overall job probability
- Maintain Installation Calendar, coordinate crews and deliveries to ensure atimelyinstall
- Visitjobsin progressand ensure customer satisfaction
- Respondto roofingproject emergencies (leaks,damages,and urgentcustomer concerns)
- Monitor roof installation to manufacturer specifications,contract terms,andour company’s Safety Standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid drivers license and ability to obtain driver clearance at Semper required
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in construction management
- Minimum of 3 years experience working the roofing industry
- Abilityto set expectationsand service customers throughprojectcompletion
- Strongverbal communication skills with both internal and external customers
- Knowledgeof roofingcodes,regulations,and manufacturer specifications
- Abilityto diagnoseinstallation errors and recommend corrective action
- Must demonstrate a highsense of urgency
- Strong time management capabilities and ability to navigate logistics of region
Physical Requirement:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative standards.
- Abilityto maintain regular,punctual attendance consistent withtheADA,FMLAand other federal,state,and local standards
- Mustbeable toremain in a stationarypositionfor longperiodsof time
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
- Must be capable of assessing the roof for roof leaks and capable of making the physical repair.
