Job description

Industry leading ASME pressure vessel fabricator and gas process equipment manufacturer is seeking a qualified Heavy Equpment Operator to join our team at our McGregor, TX facility.

Candidate must be able to perform all duties in accordance with companys quality control, quality assurance, and health and safety policies and procedures.

Qualified candidates must have 3 years of experience with operation and maintenance of industrial lifts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in movement of goods
  • Must be able to climb and complete some work on ladders
  • Must be able to lift material up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment such as glasses, gloves, etc.
  • Must be able to properly use and care for assigned tools and equipment
  • Must be able to adhere to standards and perform a quality job in a safe manner within an acceptable time.
  • Must be able to work variable hours.

Job Responsibilities

  • Keep up daily material needs of production, including maintaining documentation of material moving in and out of the shop.
  • Maintain organization throughout the shop and yard with all materials.
  • Assist in traceability of non-inventory related items by working directly with shop workers to sign out required items. (i.e. welding wire, safety harness, and welding tools.)

Physical requirements

Standard requirements include Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting, and reaching, standing for long periods of time, lifting 40 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. May be required to work at heights up to 25 feet.
