- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Energy Services Technology Development Leader to join our team. Reporting to the Energy Services Portfolio Director, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and managing key technologies within our Energy Services business. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. This job can be remote.

Where Is The Work
- This is a Remote position.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with key stakeholders in Energy Services to establish a robust process for identifying and prioritizing key technologies to be developed into managed offers.
- Conduct comprehensive industry and category research to define technical and commercial requirements for proposed technology additions. Identify key suppliers, analyze cost structures, and lead the development of a commercial hypothesis and business case.
- Partner with product managers, legal, and global integrated supply chain teams to execute agreements that minimize risk and market inflation while maximizing savings.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that leverage the power of our national Energy Services business while meeting the needs of our regional operations.
- Actively manage suppliers in collaboration with product managers. Provide regional project support for vendor related activities, including project forecasting, expedites, quality issues, warranty claims, etc.
- Establish and maintain team KPIs relative to spend and supplier performance.
What You Will Bring
- Understanding of energy services business and technology solutions that drive energy reduction and decarbonization outcomes.
- Experience in conducting industry and category research.
- Demonstrated capability in developing category strategies and early-stage commercial hypothesis/ business case.
- Demonstrated knowledge of supplier agreements, including experience negotiating T&Cs, MSAs, etc.
- Experience managing a large portfolio of suppliers.
- Experience in LEAN and the NPD stage gate process is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strategic thinker. Proficient in analyzing trends and forecasting future needs. Able to develop and implement strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
- Understanding of energy services business and technology solutions that drive energy reduction and decarbonization.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Skilled at evaluating and selecting suppliers based on key product requirements, quality, cost, and reliability.
- Continuous improvement mindset. Able to identify and implement process improvements and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Self-starter capable of creating and working to a plan to drive results.
Compensation: $175,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
