Titan Energy has an immediate opening for Renewable Energy Business Development Manager in Hartford CT. The Business Development Manager will develop new commercial and industrial sales opportunities and help project manage new and existing opportunities within Titan Energy’s onsite generation division, TitanGen. Titan Energy is seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic and outgoing individual interested in a high upside growth opportunity with a well-respected, industry leading energy consulting organization.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Drive sales by communicating value proposition of TitanGen’s renewable energy consulting service offerings to key constituents, internally and externally
  • Source new sales opportunities and generate leads through outbound calls, emails and other methods as necessary
  • Conduct on and off-site assessments to determine feasibility of renewable energy solutions, which may include solar, community solar, cogeneration, fuel cell, battery storage and other technologies
  • Collaborate with TitanGen management to develop client-tailored proposals
  • Assume responsibility for vendor management throughout the process of project implementation
  • Work closely with the Titan team to identify potential project opportunities, develop customer recommendations and provide sales support
  • Assess and build relationships with a network of renewable energy contractors throughout North America
  • Oversee successful installation of customers’ renewable energy projects
  • Partner with market development in engaging and seeking additional target markets and business development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage complex, independent sales activities, including internal/external sales activity, initial site evaluations, and proposal delivery.
  • Experience with basic solar array system design
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related applications
  • Passion for creating and closing new business opportunities
  • 2-5+ years of experience in the solar or other renewable energy business lines is preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to condense technical information in a straightforward, concise manner
  • Proven track record of developing, building upon and managing a strong customer base
