Responsibilities Include:
•Coordinate the design, implementation and documentation of accounting and financial reporting process controls. Lead the effort to remediate identified control deficiencies.
•Create, review and update policies and procedures for compliance with governmental regulations and corporate policies and standards.
•Active engagement in the companywide monthly close process, including interaction with product line management to understand monthly business activity, ensuring business unit results comply with IFRS standards and maintenance of required balance sheet account reconciliations.
•Participate in the planning and execution of all phases of the mid-year, interim and year-end external audit process, including directly working with the external audit team, technical IFRS research, and contribution to footnote disclosures. Assist with other required regulatory reporting.
•Independently research and develop accounting processes for advanced accounting concepts and processes in accordance with IFRS and GAAP. Lead the effort to develop related new accounting processes and procedures, as assigned.
•Complete, or review and approve, reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts in accordance with company policies and standards. Prepare or review journal entries and monitor assigned account activity to accurately record Titan’s transactions in accordance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
•Oversee the complete and accurate maintenance of assigned accounting records and the preparation and compilation of internal management reports and information.
•Assist as needed the Financial Reporting team with regular reporting responsibilities to the Parent’s finance function and Titan America management.
•Provide leadership and mentoring, including the review and approval of work of other team members.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent education and related training
•A minimum of five (5) years of relevant accounting experience.
•Working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), with International Financial Reporting Standards experience a plus.
•Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office products, with an emphasis on spreadsheets, word processing and database software.
•Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Public accounting experience.
•Professional designation (or candidate for designation) as a CPA or CMA Master’s degree in accounting or business administration
•SAP FICO experience.
