What can you expect in this role? As a solar sales consultant you will be responsible to generate sales of commercial & residential solar electric systems. Your primary responsibility will be to educate prospects about solar electric systems, batteries, utility bills, and relevant financial metrics. Our sales consultants are expected to meet clients on site and execute sales at appointments in homes and businesses from pre-qualified and self generated leads.

Day to Day Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Sales of residential and commercial solar systems
  • Become a knowledgeable solar consultant and successful closer who can get contracts signed electronically, at clients home and/or business.
  • Utilize web based sales and design tools and conducting preliminary site evaluations to develop a system proposal.
  • Analysis of customer’s electrical usage and financial return on investment
  • Attend outreach events to promote solar with potential leads
  • Coordinate with solar install team

What makes you a good fit?

  • At least 2-3 years in sales, required.
  • Background in solar preferred, experience in other clean technologies, roofing, or construction beneficial.
  • Ability to calculate key financial metrics.
  • Consistently achieve sales quota.
  • Competency in the use of CRM, MS Office suite, email and other relevant software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, and the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
  • Must be able to work weekends on occasion.
  • Must be very organized, self-motivated, and able to meet aggressive timelines.
  • Develop and maintain a strong referral network of satisfied customers that refer friends and family to The Stitt Group.
  • Must reside within our sales and marketing region.

  • Competitive base salary and commission

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
