Client Representative ISV Cable Installation
Role Objective: Maintain accurate records, ensure safety and quality, and lead by example in offshore ISV cable installation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate daily activity records.
- Ensure compliance with approved procedures and risk assessments.
- Proactively manage safety and quality.
- Lead by example and maintain a high focus on safety.
Tasks:
- Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPRs).
- Review and understand Risk Assessments/Method Statements and QHSE documents.
- Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks, and discussions as the site representative.
- Be present during key activities to witness and ensure safety.
- Participate in safety walks with HSE representatives.
- Conduct inspections, complete handover documentation, and review Contractor reports.
Deliverables:
- Daily execution records onboard Contractor’s vessels.
- DPRs, walkdown reports, and handover documentation.
- Reviewed field reports.
Mandatory:
- GWO Basic Safety Training (Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling).
- OGUK Medical certificate including Chester Step Test or approved equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet.
- High focus on quality and safety.
- Fluent in English.
- Can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
- Required permissions to work offshore in the US.
Recommended:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in offshore cable installation/ISV cable pull-in works.
- Marine awareness qualifications.
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training.
- Experience with offshore ISV works and quality inspections.
- Experience with offshore wind projects as a Client Representative.
Rotation: Expected to be 4 weeks on followed by 4 weeks off, subject to change.
Additional Requirements:
- Bring your own PC and/or iPhone with the latest iOS.
- Allow the installation of security software for mobile devices.
- Agree to the removal of apps and data if required for security reasons.
