What to Expect
The Service Subcontract Management team partners closely with Residential and Commercial Energy Operations to support maintenance and repair of deployed assets in North America including solar, industrial storage, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This role is centered on case management and will be expected to closely partner with the operations team as an extension to execute work that needs to be handled by Teslas External Partners.
The primary role of the Subcontract Manager (Case Management) will be to handle a large volume of cases and manage towards resolution. Prioritizing daily work tasks and being able to multitask are critical skills necessary to succeed.

What Youll Do

  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously for assigned region
  • Follow case management processes, uploading documents, case notes and flow statuss
  • Find qualified contractors and oversee onboarding process end to end
  • Establish long lasting working relationships with External Partners. Sound understanding of regional coverage, capabilities, and quality of workmanship
  • Review Subcontractor Deliverables and verify successful completion
  • Request quotes and create Purchase Requests
  • Provide progress updates on assigned cases to multiple stakeholders

What Youll Bring

  • 3+ years project management or relatable experience in Infrastructure Maintenance, Energy, and/or Sub-Contracting
  • Problem solver, self-motivated and proactive in problem solving
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with complex and demanding deadlines
  • Exceptional communications, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working across and successfully influencing multiple internal stakeholders

Expected Compensation

$68,000 – $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
