About The Job
Within the Commercial team, its main Role & Responsibilities are the following:
- BD/Sales commercial activity in US (United States) and Canada
- Key member of decarbonization commercial team with high degree of delegation and accountability
- Grow the customers base and develop new markets and new services in the US and in Canada, in line with the strategy developed by the business line and with a project developer mindset
- Understand further the business models viable for the US and Canada in the decarbonization business, and acceptable for T.EN (Technip Energies)
- Secure DAC (Direct Air Capture) program opportunities with OXY
- Contribute significantly to the definition of the tender & execution strategy and act as sales during bids preparation. With a clear mandate to challenge and follow-up the proposed execution (OTD).
- Feed the organization with client and market intelligence
- Manage and develop customers’ accounts in coordination with the commercial organization, the KAMs, and business lines by :
- Applying in-depth and intimate knowledge of customers and the Energy industry in NAM
- Identifying and manage the relationship with key decision makers within clients’ organizations
- Identifying customer drivers and defining/executing capture strategy with defined customer base
- Driving lean, competitive, and quality proposal strategy for customer base
- Providing competition SWOT
Establish and lead Capture Strategies together with business lines and the delivery organization
Develop partnerships/alliances as needed to win and expand customers’ base

About You
We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
- BS or BA Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Operations
- Strong business network in NAM & Ability to influence customer perspectives on commercial issues.
- 10+ years of experience in Sales, Project Management, Proposals, Contracts, or other related roles with a focus on developing and implementing business opportunities.
- Knowledge of core commercial and contractual concepts, such as main contracting models, escalation, contingency, currency risk, tax exposure, LDs, OLL, cash flow, bonds, margin, mark-up.
- Understanding of Project Management techniques & standards and proprietary technologies.

- Effective leadership ability within a matrixed team environment to get commercial return

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, delegate tasks, and negotiate with internal stakeholders using interpersonal and communication skills to meet deadlines and achieve T.EN and customer success.
- Uses market, public affairs, and policy analysis to shape positioning to achieve desired market share
- Sales cycle management, account organisation and strategy
- Knowledge of products, technology, and services available in our BL portfolio
