WHAT THE POSITION DOES:

After a Residential Solar PV system is installed and turned on, any subsequent work needed is handled through our Service Department. This could be any mix of needs, from warranty work to electric car charger installations, to customers needing their solar removed/reinstalled for a new roof or solar inspections for home sales.

Your role as the office-based Service Case Manager is to own the service requests assigned to you by our intake Coordinator and utilize our highly skilled and phenomenal Field Technicians as your boots on the ground resource.

Depending on whats needed you may coordinate warranty product replacement with vendors, troubleshoot common error codes over the phone, provide price quotes for non-warranty work or schedule a technician and help facilitate their recommendations. In fact, for some customers, you might be the only person able to help them, especially when their original solar installer has gone out of business.

WHO FITS BEST:

This role requires someone with strong phone, computer, typing and communication skills, able to enter and extract information from our Field Squared CRM as well as from vendor websites and use of Adobe Sign. You must also be eager to learn and ask questions with the ability to manage up to 100 cases at a time with the help of our CRM. Having foundational residential solar knowledge including products & vendors used and an understanding of how solar works is key for this role. Also, developing strong relationships with the various departments within our company and our vendors means you arent required to have all the answers, you simply need to know the right shoulder to tap to ask for assistance.

This role is based in Chandler, AZ and follows a consistent schedule Mon – Fri.

Typical hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch.

We have an additional Mon Fri role available which works 4 am to 12:30 pm (or 3 am to 11:30 am depending on daylight savings).

This role requires you to be as proactive as possible, and you will consistently be working to seek out solutions to problems in a timely manner and keeping customers updated. Being a “glass-is-half-full” kind of person is key too. The nature of the service department is to be responsive, empathetic problem solvers. This requires that our team be creative, flexible and have a positive “can do” attitude overall.
