Position Overview:

Join our dynamic team at SunRaise Capital as a Solar Operations Manager. In this crucial role, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our solar projects. As an emerging leader in the renewable energy sector, we are committed to providing innovative financing solutions for residential solar installers and sales partners. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure that solar projects meet quality standards. Additional responsibilities include managing payment schedules, invoices, and maintaining clear internal and external communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly review and assess solar project invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Collaborate with finance and project management teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the review process.
  • Ensure timely approval and processing of invoices to maintain positive relationships with vendors and contractors.
  • Oversee the compliance of solar installations with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of completed projects to verify that they meet established quality benchmarks and specifications.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with solar contractors and funding partners.
  • Communicate effectively with external partners to address concerns, provide feedback, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency in the solar project approval and invoicing processes.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and streamline workflows.
  • Generate regular reports on solar project approvals, invoice processing, and compliance status.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of approval decisions, project assessments, and communication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the solar project lifecycle, including design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.
  • Highly organized and solution oriented.
  • Familiarity with solar financing and invoicing processes is a plus.
  • Solar electrical working knowledge highly preferred.
