RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain, commission, and repair solar systems and related equipment on residential rooftops
- Perform electrical wiring connections for solar panels and inverters
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot system issues to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timelines
- Adhere to safety protocols and follow industry standards and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and address any client concerns or questions
Emergencies: There will be occasions that demand an emergency call for a technician to arrive on site for system failures. Though this does not happen often, please note that you may be called to a site with little to no warning. Calls can occur on nights, weekends, and holidays to perform troubleshooting and repairs, but if these repairs are non-emergent, they will be scheduled for the next business day.
SKILLS:
- Proficient in working with high voltage electrical systems
- Knowledge of hand tools and equipment used in solar panel installation
- Experience working on rooftops and familiarity with roof safety practices
- Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements for solar installations
- Familiarity with fixture installation and wiring procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for system layout and design
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- New Jersey: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Work Location: On the road
