Job Description

Job Overview
As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar panel systems on rooftops or other structures. You will work in construction sites and be involved in various tasks related to solar panel installation.

Duties
– Install solar panels on rooftops or other structures following engineering plans
– Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks
– Assemble racking systems, modules, and electrical components
– Connect panels to electrical systems ensuring proper wiring
– Test installed systems using voltmeters and other equipment
– Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
– Work with high and low voltage systems
– Assist in troubleshooting system issues

Skills
Required Skills:
– Ability to work at heights on rooftops and construction sites
– Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
– Understanding of schematics and blueprints for solar installations
– Knowledge of building, plumbing, and electrical codes

– Must have Ladder, Impact, Bits and tools of this trade

Nice-to-Have Skills:
– Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems

Pay: $50.00 – $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 40 per week

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Performance bonus
