Summary:

Summit Ridge Energy is seeking a Senior Analyst of FP&A and Treasury who will play a critical role in weekly cash forecasting, debt management, cash flow reporting, and compliance. The successful candidate will have opportunities to establish and/or improve existing cash management processes and reporting, utilizing business intelligence tool(s).

In the past six years, Summit Ridge Energy has deployed over $1.6B USD into clean energy assets. With a development pipeline of more than 2 GW, Summit Ridge Energy will have more than 400 MW of PV online by the end of 2024, providing solar power to 50,000 homes and businesses.

Role and Responsibilities:

Contribute to monthly and annual FP&A processes:

  • Own the weekly cash forecast – ensure we have adequate access to liquidity to fund working capital needs, investment opportunities, and stress events. Present updates to management.

Contribute to liquidity planning efforts, including related management reporting deliverables

  • Understand the cash and revenue impact of changes to project econcomics and schedule
  • Serve as a corporate laison to lenders and banks – administer and manage treasury systems and bank connectivity, working collaboratively with Accounts Payable
  • Perform analysis for Summit Ridge Energy management

Interact with business unit personnel and capability groups to gather, analyze, and prepare cash flow forecasts and liquidity movements across the enterprise

Collaborate with Accounting and Project Finance teams

  • Help drive capital allocation decisions for the organization
  • Work collaboratively with the Accounting and Project Finance teams to continuously improve cash tracking/PO process

Recommend and lead automation and other process improvement efforts

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • 3+ years of FP&A, Accounting, or other corporate treasury and finance roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
  • Cash and liquidity management experience
  • Familiarity with project financing arrangements/documentation or experience working with corporate facilities
  • Understanding of banking services, standards, best practices, clearing systems, and payment technologies
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and work independently to meet deadlines
  • Thorough, thoughtful, and able to perform well under pressure
  • Strong business acumen, excellent communication, and project management skills – ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, gain consensus, and be effective in driving initiatives to completion
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel, proficient in other Office applications, good working knowledge of databases, modeling experience desirable; working experience in Power BI is a plus
  • Available to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
