Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in renewable energy, including solar and wind? We are seeking a top-tier Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team. You will be joining STS, a leading group in the global renewable energy sector. With operations in fourteen countries across North America, Europe, and Asia, our team is made up of dedicated professionals who share a passion for technology, quality, and sustainability.

Position Overview

As a key member of our global Sales Team, you will deliver sales revenues and success to our customers across the United States. You will collaborate closely with colleagues spanning various regions, including the US, Europe, and Asia, engaging in daily interactions with clients and internal stakeholders.

Under the guidance of the Head of Sales, you will play a key role in achieving sales targets and providing technical solutions tailored to address the needs of our clients. Serving as a trusted advisor, your wealth of technical expertise in renewable energy, particularly in photovoltaics (PV), will enable you to provide strategic insights and advice on solution architecture, implementation strategies, project management, technical support, and quality assurance. You will develop enduring client relationships, ensuring the successful execution of customers’ technical projects that not only meet but exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and drive business growth through the development and execution of sales strategies and plans.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to deliver expansion and revenue maximization.
  • Ensure customers success, satisfaction, loyalty, development, and revenue growth within the designated territory through proactive engagement and tailored solutions.
  • Organize customer meetings, conduct reviews, and gather client insights to drive exceptional outcomes.
  • Leverage technical expertise to assess customer needs, craft compelling technical-commercial proposals, customize solutions, and oversee flawless project execution, ensuring seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Manage the entire order lifecycle, from lead generation to payment collection, ensuring efficiency and accuracy at every stage.
  • Foster enduring customer relationships as the primary point of contact, nurturing trust and loyalty while delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Understand customers’ unique needs and provide advice to address their specific requirements, driving value and satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in renewable energy or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in frontline sales roles, sales account management, key account management, or similar, within the renewable energy industry.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and fostering enduring customer relationships.
  • Technical knowledge of photovoltaics (PV) and other renewable energy solutions, coupled with a strong understanding of US market dynamics and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional sales, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling successful collaboration with customers and teams from diverse cultures.
  • Track record of thriving in both independent and collaborative work environments, with a demonstrated ability to excel in a remote or home-office setting.
