Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a VP of Business Development. They will be responsible for overseeing project development from origination to project closeout, providing technical expertise, and managing project budgets and schedules. The VP will work a flexible role needing to be in the office twice a month.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Solar PV systems and other renewable energy technologies
- Experience managing end-to-end project development in C&I and Community Solar.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage project budgets and schedules
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in Origination. (e.g negotiating PPA’s)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in project development, design, and/or construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
- Experience with low-income housing and government incentive programs is preferred
