Storm4 is partnered with a with a unique concentrated solar power start-up operating globally. They have a pipeline of $1bn and are currently expanding multiple departments to cater for the increase in demand.

They are searching for a Senior Project Engineer, focused on renewable energy, to join their team. They would be responsible to develop and engineer their technology. This is a remote position with equity/stock options available. Experience with CSP, solar or microgrids is preferred, but not required for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to develop and document system specifications.
• Oversees the entire control software development process from concept to completion, ensuring seamless integration of pumps, valves, engines, controllers, compressors, and other components.
• Creates test plans to validate system functionality and ensure software quality assurance.
• Documents and presents test results to engineers and management.
• Travels to test sites to conduct performance tests.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience integrating various systems, including pumps, valves, compressors, engines, generators, and controllers.
• Proficient in generating FMEAs and conducting HAZOP analyses.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Knowledge of solar power or energy systems.
• Enthusiasm for working in a small, dynamic team.
