Private Equtiy Senior Analyst

Description:

My client a Private Equity firm focused on investments across Renewable Energy, Infrastructure and Energy Transition is looking to hire a Senior Analyst to join its growing energy transition investment platforms across the US and Latin America. The candidate will work full-time out of the Company’s corporate HQ in Miami, Florida and will join a lean team of investment professionals with industry leading expertise investing in and incubating companies across all facets of the energy transition ecosystem. This critical addition to the team will play a central role in furthering the company’s reputation as one of the leading investors in the space.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

· Engage in market research and industry analysis to identify trends

· Identifying attractive investment themes and sourcing / screening prospective investment opportunities

· Support in transaction due diligence and execution by working with deal team in all aspects of deal processes, working closely with senior investment team members to:

o Conduct extensive analyses on potential investments, including in-depth financial modeling and presentation materials

o Synthesize findings into internal investment committee presentation materials

· Prepare detailed financial models and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

· 1-3 years of relevant work experience (e.g. investment banking) within one of the following groups: Energy Transition, Power & Utilities, Energy, O&G.

· Interest in Energy and Sustainability

· Bachelor’s degree from a top university and a robust academic track record

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong understanding of fundamental business analysis, financial / accounting / valuation concepts, financial modeling, and ability to create presentation material
