Contractor Management II, Sr. Specialist
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Support Internal Business Units in forecasting, reporting and releasing pipeline and meter workload to Contracting Partners. Coordinate weekly/monthly update meetings to promote completion of workload, supplier Inclusion, diverse business partnerships, and contractor alliances
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Contractor Management Specialist II requires a minimum 3-5 years as Contractor Management Specialist or equivalent or equivalent time/experience in safety, quality, operations or compliance related field. A bachelors degree with business, engineering, construction, or project management emphasis is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and SharePoint.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Explanation: Employee is expected to coordinate all work related to assigned programs/projects with little direction from manager or director. Employee owns day to day program activities. Performs and documents event learnings analysis with little oversite. Develop and support Contractor mentoring programs.
Task Complexity:
Tasks are straight-forward, routine, and often repetitive.
Tasks are varied and complex.
Assignments are quite varied and highly complex.
Explanation: Tasks are related to the coordination of day-to-day activities on assigned programs (schedule/conduct update meetings, handle day to day questions/issues etc.). Act as subject matter expert on safety, quality, operating & compliance related issues. Manages large projects and processes with little oversite.
Contractor Management Sr. Specialist requires 6-10 years as a Contractor Management Specialist or equivalent time/experience in safety, quality, operations, or compliance related field. A bachelors degree with business, engineering, construction, or project management emphasis is preferred. A project management certification is also preferred.

Explanation: In this role, the Sr. Specialist is responsible for managing contractor contracts, conduct safety learning events and provide recommendations to assigned programs. Sr. Specialist will lead efforts to interpret and develop global forecasts, analyzes for peak/shave for crew and material availability. Leads internal audits and process development teams. Provides supervision to clerical staff.

Explanation: Sr. Specialist task include facilitation of meetings and deliver budget explanations to Directors/Officer level. Mentors and coach less-tenured employees. Identify issues that could impact business units and develops a plan of action to resolve the issue. Anticipates issues and develops action plan for correction. Recognizes and promotes diversity internally and externally.
