SOLV Energy is an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and solar services provider for utility solar, high voltage substation and energy storage markets across North America. Job Description Summary: The EPC Regional Manager is responsible for oversight and management of multiple construction projects within an assigned region.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Project Management:
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and provide leadership to project executives, project managers, site supervisors, and other construction professionals within the region.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and project updates.
  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients within the region.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with business development teams to secure new projects and contracts.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control:
    • Develop and manage budgets for construction projects.
    • Monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to stay within budget constraints.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure that construction projects meet quality standards and comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on project status, financial performance, and other relevant metrics.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Implement risk management plans to minimize project disruptions and financial losses.

    Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications may be preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years Utility interconnection, PV solar and BESS construction experience is recommended.
    • Proven experience in construction project management, budget forecasting, with a focus on leadership roles.
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
    • Travel is required for this position.

    Compensation Range:

    $176,404.80 – $251,992.40
