About the Role:

Are you a Solar Development Manager with a track record in Community Solar? Ready to elevate your career and guide a team of developers to success? Look no further!

Our client is hiring a VP of Development. As the right hand to the CEO, you’ll shape the development strategy, oversee project execution, and lead the charge in developing community solar projects, including innovative dual-use projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute the development strategy.
• Oversee project organization and tracking, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Provide hands-on development support as needed, leveraging your expertise to drive projects forward.
• Coach and mentor junior developers to upskill and develop their talents.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of solar project development experience, successfully developing projects to NTP.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills, with acute attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainable development.
