Residential Solar Energy Project Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing renewable energy projects by working with clients, engineers, utilities, local AHJs, and our installation teams to develop plans, submit applications, obtain approvals/permits, schedule installations and oversee construction to project completion. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in our organization and will be given the opportunity to advance in your role and increase your compensation.

Duties:

– Organize and submit project details for engineering

– Review engineering plans with team members and industry resources to determine accuracy

– Apply for applicable utility interconnection approvals

– Apply for applicable permits (apply or renew contracting licenses with AHJs when necessary)

– Order material for construction

– Coordinate/schedule installations with clients and installation teams

– Coordinate/schedule applicable inspections

– Setup client energy system monitoring

– Provide general support for clients and energy systems

Skills:

– Strong computer skills. (90% of your job is done through online portals)
– Strong project coordination skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
– Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings for energy systems.
– Experience working with local municipalities and building departments
– Familiarity with customer relationship management software for project tracking.
– Proficient in project management methodologies to drive successful outcomes.
– Knowledge of tools like Google Drive, Calendar, Email and Hub Spot for efficient project execution.
– Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
– Expertise in project scheduling to ensure timely project delivery.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
