Job Title: Residential Solar Installer
Location: Illinois and Surrounding States (travel required)
Pay Range: $17 – $20 per hour

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Residential Solar Installers. This role involves installing residential solar systems across Illinois and neighboring states. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with frequent travel and be passionate about renewable energy. Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install residential solar systems, including racking, panels, inverters, and other related equipment.
- Work with a variety of racking systems, with a focus on ground screw racking and potential roof mounts.
- Install and maintain Micro inverters and SolarEdge systems.
- Conduct electrical wiring and grounding for solar equipment.
- Ensure all installations are compliant with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of solar power systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during the installation process.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of OSHA safety codes is required.
- Must have personal tooling for solar installations.
- Experience with ground screw racking systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of Micro inverters and SolarEdge systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in different states as required.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 50 per week
