We are seeking motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as Residential Solar Installers / Technicians. Responsibilities:
- Installing solar panels and related equipment, following design plans and specifications.
- Mounting solar panels on rooftops or other structures, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
- Connecting wiring and electrical components to integrate solar systems into existing electrical systems.
- Performing tests and inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety of solar systems.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with solar installations and making necessary repairs.
- Assisting with site surveys and evaluations to determine the feasibility and optimal placement of solar systems.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and principles.
- Basic understanding of solar systems including installation techniques and methods of power transmission (e.g., conduit).
- Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in solar installation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Solid communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in solar installation or a related field is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Travel between 25% and 50%
