Solar Direct Club is looking for dynamic and motivated Solar Energy Consultants to join our expanding team. As a Solar Energy Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving our mission to provide clean, affordable energy solutions to homeowners across 25 states. This commission-only position offers unlimited earning potential and the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to thrive in a supportive and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through various methods, including networking, canvassing, and referrals.
- Conduct in-depth consultations with potential customers to understand their energy needs and present tailored solar solutions.
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and the various financing options available, including leases, PPAs, and purchases.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to close deals.
- Follow up with prospects and customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Manage and update CRM software with customer information, sales activities, and follow-up actions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for clean energy.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new sales techniques and strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
