Location: Falconer, NY
Salary Range: $64,000 – $77,000

Summary:
SKF Aerospace is a first-tier supplier to the global aviation industry and much more. We design & manufacture complex, high performance, high-value bearings in steel and advanced ceramics. Our production group, technologies, & products are at the heart of aerospace industry and the worlds leading aircraft jet engine & gearbox manufacturers at our Falconer, NY location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire heat treatment process, ensuring both efficiency and precision in production workflows.
  • Lead the heat-treating team, establishing and maintaining standard operating procedures, and guiding corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provide training and support to heat treatment personnel.
  • Manage NADCAP and customer audits within the Heat Treatment department, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure Maintenance & Calibration of HT equipment as per plan.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of critical consumables, verifying adherence to established standards in the heat treatment area.
  • Implement and uphold the 5S methodology to maintain an organized and efficient production environment.
  • Enforce company safety policies rigorously, ensuring a safe workplace for all employees.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree in any discipline or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supervising the employees in manufacturing facility.
  • Heat treatment or metallurgy experience a plus.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Committed to LEAN concepts & utilizes the various SKF Production System tools.
