Job Summary:

Doing this in the most effective, productive, and sustainable way has made the SKF Group a leading global supplier of products, solutions and services within rolling bearings, seals, mechatronics, services, and lubrication systems. Within SKF, the Group Commercial Excellence team have the responsibility to drive globally all the Industries and Product Lines strategies. We are looking for a strong leadership in our Mounted Bearings Product Line which includes mounted ball bearing units, roller bearing units and split housings and accessories. So, as the Global Product Line Manager, you will be responsible for driving value selling for the concerned product line. You will ensure business growth and be responsible for the profit and loss status of your product line. You are expected to be the expert for a product line in respect of application, market, product requirements, as well as competitor analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Design the Mounted Bearings Product Line Global Strategy.
  • Responsible for driving value selling for the concerned product line.
  • Drive the global capacity planning and footprint, including make or buy decisions, to optimize the product line profitability and growth.
  • Responsible for the profit and loss status of your product line.
  • Combine the ball and the roller offers through the assortment management.
  • Be the expert for a product line in respect of application, market, and product requirements as well as competitor analysis.
  • Make the Product Line competitive in close cooperation with Industries, Sales, and Operations.
  • Make competitors benchmark and market analysis.
  • Share knowledge pertaining to the development of new products in close cooperation with Industries, Customers, and Product Development.
  • Ensure business growth.
Job Education & Experience:
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Deep technical knowledge mounted products and applications.
  • Project Management experience and background are highly appreciated.
  • Strong IT and customer integration knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Sales skills and operational experience are highly desirable.
  • Can-do, hands-on capability, with high energy to build world class practices and experience.
  • A positive drive for change to create improved performance and adapt to global trends.
  • Ability to influence and lead people at all levels.
