Summary:
In this role, you will be executing strategic purchasing activities for Lubrication and its factories in Americas. You will also be supporting the implementation of strategic sourcing results in the country/factories and promote operational efficiency. You will be working closely with internal stakeholders to execute the BU unique category purchasing activities. As you in this role you will get to interact with people all over the world and collaborate with people on all levels and functions, you need to have solid collaboration skills and enjoy team working.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate pricing and contracts, and implement contacts, agreements and new processes.
  • Support Purchasing Business Plan, Forecasts and Standard Cost Calculation.
  • Manage and participate in global and regional sourcing projects & savings projects.
  • Track key performance indicators on suppliers and internal customer contract compliance.
  • Define and take corrective actions to improve contracts compliance.
  • Participate in Regulatory Compliance activities related to product sourcing.
  • Support NPOs (New Product Offerings) and Quality initiatives.
  • Be the factory point of contact for sourcing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business related area. (Masters Degree will be considered a plus).
  • Senior experience from working within Purchasing in a international context .
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with fluency in English and preferably also Spanish.
  • Previous experience in working with global suppliers and ability to build solid and long-term relationships internally and externally.
  • Travel required up to approximately 10%.
