Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced business and operations analyst to join the retail team. As an analyst, key responsibilities include working closely with the SVP of Retail on identifying trends to improve forecasting and planning, and interpreting sales data to optimize operations. Candidate will use statistical methods to analyze information and propose business solutions to increase sales revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure alignment with customer metrics by reviewing and identifying areas for improvement
  • Analyze current processes and recommend solutions for improved efficiencies, productivity and profitability within retail
  • Oversee monthly SIOP and demand planning meetings for all sales areas within retail (concrete repair, insulation, stucco, and waterproofing/paint, FCM)
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of customer trends to identify potential areas for improvement both internally and externally
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to quickly adapt to changes in the marketplace
  • Review monthly customer scorecards and respond to discrepancies in a timely manner through customer portals
  • Be able to align and communicate confidently on key business initiatives and strategy
  • Act as a liaison between cross functional departments within Sika and key customer contacts in sales and supply chain to address challenges quickly and efficiently
  • Establish a streamlined process for executing promotional and special buys to grow sales
  • Perform annual supply chain process audits in each business area
  • Assist on special projects related to sales and marketing
  • Work with key customers to review sales trends and address supply chain related issues

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analysis
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a demanding environment
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated
