Service Technician (f/m/d) Offshore Wind farms North Sea

– Troubleshooter –

Your Main Assignments In This Position Are

  • Perform scheduled service (500-Hrs, Annual, etc.) procedures on North Sea offshore wind turbines without supervision
  • Identify and troubleshoot common, reoccurring, and major component faults on electrical and mechanical systems of the offshore turbine where duly trained/certified
  • Provide on-job qualification training, evaluating competency and quality for troubleshooting procedures of individuals assigned to them
  • Perform unscheduled maintenance jobs
  • Develop advanced troubleshooting knowledge and skills on site with competent individuals
  • Lead small teams; Accountable for the safety, competency and productivity of Trainees, Maintenance technicians and Contractors assigned to them for maintenance and troubleshooting activities
  • Keep records, maintain documentation and report technical, safety issues and difficulties to the relevant individuals on site/back office
  • Maintain and follow safety procedures as required by company policy
  • Participate in all relevant call arrangements (flexibility is important), if applicable

Your Qualifications

Passion for renewable energy and a sense of climate change. In addition, we are looking for…

  • Successfully completed electrical education / training (according to German regulations)
  • Several years of working experience within the wind sector, preferably offshore
  • Offshore ready according to GWO standard
  • Advanced understanding of electrical & mechanical systems of all turbine components and systems
  • Proactive and independent way of working
  • Teamplayer
  • Flexibility in regards to shift work and site location
  • Advanced understanding of IT
  • Advanced knowledge in Business English
