A Snapshot of Your Day
Responsible for providing technical and commercial sales support for RCE upgrades parts or projects for reciprocating compressors and engines including, but not limited to, global prospecting, upgrade scope definition, cost research, proposal development, negotiation, order entry into parts system, hand-over of project level orders to project execution.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Present and promote value proposition to prospective customers.
- Consult with customers to develop solution concepts and later present technical and commercial proposal.
- Commercial and technical evaluation of customer requests.
- Align with engineering, operations, and supply chain management, as well as the assigned sales region to manage concrete opportunities through all stages of implementation along the sales funnel.
- Develop accurate and comprehensive scope definition for customer requests.
- Create accurate and complete cost analysis for proposals.
- Develop appropriate offer strategy together with the assigned sales region.
- Conceive and prescribe integrated solutions to meet customer needs.
- Use and maintain CRM tools to ensure complete, accurate, and timely information.
- Develop a sustainable sales funnel.
- Act as liaison manager for assigned sales regions.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical related field; or advanced degree a plus!
- 8+ Years of professional experience in Product Sales or Marketing.
- Basic understanding of oil and gas market; experience in reciprocating compressors and/or gas engine technology.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & writing skills! High level of tact, professionalism, and tenacity.
- Experience in developing complex solutions and document their value propositions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Salary could potentially start around $90k, based on relevant experience and other key factors.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
