As a Manufacturing Planner at Siemens Energy, you’ll play a pivotal role in orchestrating the seamless flow of our production processes. Your expertise will ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials, keeping our projects on schedule and our standards high. This role is not just about planning; it’s about ensuring our manufacturing engine runs smoothly and efficiently, directly impacting our success and customer satisfaction.

How Youll Make an Impact

  • Regularly monitor and report project material status to relevant team members.
  • Develop and implement scheduling strategies for the procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring alignment with the production timeline.
  • Guarantee adherence to industry standards and safety protocols, maintaining our commitment to excellence and the well-being of our team.
  • Serve as the linchpin between project management, production, and senior leadership by providing timely updates on material status and project progress.
  • Report project material status to project management, production and senior management.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Operations Planning, Logistics or related technical field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Those with more years or experience may be considered for a more senior level position.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office, tools that are vital for planning and communication in our operations is strongly preferred.
  • Strong abilities in both verbal and written communication, paired with negotiation skills that help in collaborating closely with suppliers and internal team members.
  • A thorough approach is essential for planning accuracy, coupled with the flexibility to work independently or collaboratively within diverse teams.
  • Must be willing to work 10-15 hours of OT on average per week.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
