Application Engineer and Business Developer

A Snapshot of Your Day

Application Engineer plays a key role in the business process, by working with sales and customers for the specific requirement of HV products, supporting product development / marketing, technical offer preparation and business development activities to support the business growth.

How Youll Make an Impact

• Business Development by promoting High voltage products
• Offer management – Provide quotations and proposals as requested by customers and sales
• Contract management including technical and commercial aspects
• Assess customers technical requirement and specifications
• Actively participate in Business Review and project management Meetings

What You Bring

• Engineering Graduate or 5+ years of relevant product experience
• 2-3 years experience in electrical product or service business is preferred. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
• Time management skills
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Able to travel up to 30%
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
