Utility Systems & Solutions
The Utility Systems & Solutions business in Siemens’ Electrification & Automation business unit oversees the expansion and advancement of EA’s Utility and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) markets. Within its comprehensive product portfolio, one finds an array of offerings, such as medium voltage switchgear (AIS & GIS), Outdoor Circuit Breakers, MV Control, Power Equipment Centers, Overhead distribution products, low voltage motor control centers, photovoltaic (PV) Inverters, and supplementary MV and LV products. These elements are consistently integrated into full-fledged electrical packaged solutions deployed in utility distribution systems, substations, power plants, and renewable energy power generation projects.

We are looking for a Director, Green Technology Systems & Solutions. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.
The Director of GT Systems & Solutions leads a dynamic team of sales and order engineers, inside sales, order management, and customer support professionals in the photovoltaic business, including both central and string inverter solutions. This role provides strategic direction and technical expertise to support sales and business development teams, ensuring exceptional customer solutions. Responsibilities include overseeing the entire lifecycle of product or solution implementation, including pricing, proposal generation, post-sale integration support, contract management, solution collateral development, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess operations management experience, technical proficiency, leadership acumen, and a customer-centric mindset. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with and leading our business development and project management office to drive business growth and project success.
