Job Description

As the TikTok Shop Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of our company’s presence on TikTok’s e-commerce platform, TikTok Shop. You will work closely with various teams such as marketing, sales, and product development to drive sales, increase brand visibility, and enhance customer engagement on TikTok Shop.
Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to establish and grow our presence on TikTok Shop, aligning with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Content Creation and Curation: Plan, create, and curate engaging and relevant content for TikTok Shop, including product showcases, promotions, and interactive campaigns to attract and
  • retain followers.
  • Campaign Management: Manage TikTok Shop campaigns from ideation to execution, including influencer partnerships, hashtag challenges, and sponsored content, to drive traffic and sales.
  • Community Engagement: Foster a vibrant and loyal community of followers on TikTok Shop through active engagement, responding to comments and messages, and fostering user
  • generated content.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key metrics such as engagement rate, conversion rate, and sales performance on TikTok Shop, and use insights to optimize strategies and
  • campaigns for better results.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment of TikTok Shop initiatives with broader business
  • objectives and campaigns.
  • Stay Updated: Stay abreast of the latest trends, features, and best practices on TikTok Shop and other social media platforms to continuously innovate and improve our strategy.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field is typically required.
  • Social Media Marketing Training: Formal education or certifications in social media marketing, particularly focusing on platforms like TikTok, can be beneficial.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to track and analyze performance metrics is important. A background in statistics or data science can be advantageous.
  • Communication Skills Development: Training in effective communication, both written and verbal, is essential for interacting with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Internships or Work Experience: Previous experience in e-commerce, social media marketing, or related fields through internships or entry-level positions can supplement educational qualifications and provide practical skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and in front of a monitor/ computer screen.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times with reasonable accommodation.
