Position Summary:

Semper Solaris is looking for an organized and motivated Regional Operations Manager for our Solar Operations department for our Santa Fe Springs location. This person will perform a wide variety of technical, administrative and communication duties including but not limited to Managing technical team members, coordinating with customers, sales representatives and other colleagues to quickly drive project completion and customer satisfaction. Must have previous experience in a similar role!

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and be highly computer literate with experience utilizing MS Office programs Word and Excel. Experience with Salesforce is a plus. They will be a team player who is also comfortable taking charge of operational flow and advocating for the customer. They will be polished, professional and have strong organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing responsibilities and work assignments. Must have field experience with Solar, Battery

Responsibilities:

  • Construction operations – manage day to day construction operations.
  • Oversee job cost – ensure projects are built profitably and manage job costs until project completion
  • Customer service – supervise office staff to provide consistent customer communications and an excellent customer experience
  • Manage pipeline of customers in a variety of work queues
  • Keep jobs always moving closer to completion
  • Collect on accounts receivable and submit information to corporate office
  • Answer incoming calls and field questions from customers and Installation Crews.
  • Engage with the appropriate staff to ensure project is meeting SLAs and timelines
  • Advocate for the company and use knowledge and sincerity to overcome customer frustrations around construction challenges
  • Utilize conflict management skills and escalate issues as needed
  • Communicate effectively with branch personnel using a professional, empowering approach
  • Provide daily reports and update to management
  • Generate goodwill for the company in the form of 5-star reviews and referrals
  • Perform other duties and tasks as needed
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the Residential Solar industry
  • Must have Solar and Battery installation experience. Must be very comfortable in the Main Service Panel
  • Fluent reading plans and single line diagrams
  • Must have experience in a lead or supervisor capacity, where you were responsible for the work of others
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage long term relationships with customers, colleagues, and vendors
  • Ability to manage small team, delegating responsibilities and following up on progress
  • Proven ability to effectively manage complex processes
  • Ability to effectively supervise a team. Inspire and drive team members to achieve exceptional results according to clearly defined goals
  • Experience with Project Manager software (Salesforce plus) and proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in construction industry, solar or roofing experience preferred
  • Experience managing multiple installation crews, office staff, and subcontractors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and work under sensitive time restraints
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment maintaining a positive attitude in stressful situations
  • Solution-minded, always looking for ways to improve efficiency, communication, and the customer experience
  • Ability to follow through on assigned tasks and projects with minimal supervision
  • Foresight and desire to take initiative to achieve desired results
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

Pay Rate: $85,000 to $100,000 Annually Depending on Experience
