We are looking for an exceptional technical leader to anchor our power conversion and packaging R&D. In this position, the successful candidate will provide oversight of power conversion design, packaging, EMI/EMC solutions, and thermal management.

Scope and Responsibility
  • Serve as the technical champion or chief engineer to spearhead innovative power conversion and packaging solutions, encompassing EMI/EMC, PCB layouts, mechanical packaging, and thermal management.
  • Coordinate across multiple disciplines (HW, FW, Mechanical, and Compliance) to deliver state-of-the-art products.
  • Proactively drive designs with an upfront focus on DFM/DFR considerations.
  • Ensure system requirements are comprehensive and match offer requirements.
  • Must be able to transition into multiple roles as needed technical team leader, individual contributor (in multiple areas), etc.
  • Be a strong spokesman and advocate of technology for the product engineering team.
  • Establish best practices and processes for product development and systems engineering

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of engineering experience with a background in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years of successful leadership experience with demonstrated product development.
  • Extensive experience in power conversion including multi-level inverters and isolated resonant converters.
  • Proficiency in mechanical design, with proven experience in advanced high-density packaging and cutting-edge thermal solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record in managing complex EMI/EMC and layout solutions.
  • Strong multi-disciplinary experience across HW, Embedded Systems, FW, and Mechanical Engineering.
  • Prior experience in solar, storage, and EV Charging domains, a strong plus.
  • Must have experience in DFM, DFR, DFMEAs, and other quality metrics.
  • Previous experience in dynamic, multi-time zone work settings.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
The U.S. Compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is $170,000 – $250,000 for candidates located within the U.S.
Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
