Whats the job?

The Plant Administrator is the first point of contact at the Peachtree City plant for visitor welcoming and administrative assistance to the leadership team. The Admin. provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities such as directing calls/inquiries to appropriate staff members, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties. This role will report directly to the Plant Manager.

  • Welcoming on-site guests, determine nature of business, and announces guest to appropriate personnel.
  • Provide visitors with PPE and ensure they watch the safety video.
  • Takes inventory of visitor PPE availability
  • Taking and delivering messages or transferring calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
  • Scheduling conference room usage.
  • Managing updates to site voicemail contacts and phone directory
  • Review and check the conference room, lobby, and front office area to ensure it is tour ready.
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail.
  • Takes inventory to replenish supplies as needed by ordering, stocking, and distribution of office, drinks and coffee supplies.
  • May assist HR with record filing, event coordination, and other clerical tasks
  • Assist leadership in ordering meals, interview scheduling, travel arrangement coordination, celebration and engagement events etc.
  • Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, filing and faxing.
  • Maintain departmental office machines, equipment, and office supplies.
  • Support Plant Manager daily with varying clerical assignments
  • Support administrative and special projects requirements, as assigned by the Plant Manager.
  • Delegate for arranging travel for Plant manager and supporting projects, example project Relay.
  • Support and contribute to plant wide communication.
  • Other duties as assigned.


WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?


What do you bring?

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2-3 years experience as a receptionist in a clerical or administrative role required.
  • Polished professional with outgoing attitude, be a team player and love to make the guest feel at home.
  • Excellent typing skills, high level of proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint) and comfort with learning new applications as required.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational, coordinating and personal interface skills.
  • Proven job diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to work overtime on occasion.
  • Comfort and experience interfacing with various levels of staff and management, while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public and employees.
